A Colombian court sentenced to eight Independiente Medellin's supporters for the death of another Atletico Nacional, in events of February 8, 2008, judicial sources reported on Tuesday.
The eight youths were found responsible for the crime of aggravated murder in a hearing before the judge 15 of the Penal Circuit of the city of Medellin, Jaime Taborda, it was reported.
Taborda said that at a subsequent hearing shall specify the penalty imposed on Tuesday, though legal experts noted that the perpetrators of this crime face between 20 and 30 years in prison.

Two other persons prosecuted for the same case were acquitted by the judge, noted the sources.
The victim, Julian Esteban Giraldo, 18, was stabbed to attack the February 8, 2008 near his home in Medellín, after painting slogans referring to Atletico Nacional.
