Some 700 policemen will be deployed for the Lens-PSG
The Prefecture of Police in Paris reported Tuesday that some 700 troops will be deployed polociales for the match on Wednesday in the capital's Parc des Princes between Paris Saint Germain and Lens, for the quarter-finals of the League Cup football in France.
The reason for the implementation of this safety device to prevent possible clashes between supporters of both teams after what happened last March 29 in the final of this competition, which PSG won 2-1 at Stade de France, during which the fans displayed a banner xenophobic capital against Lens, which also resulted in a soap opera at the judicial level.
In the banner displayed at the Stade de France (Paris-Saint Denis) in 52 minutes of that game read: "Pedophile, unemployed, consanguine: welcome home the Cht'is.
That reference is related to the film 'Welcome home Ch'tis of' great success this year in France, and playing in key comedy with stereotypes about people in the north.
